Life has a way of showing us the path we are meant to take, often through the stories and experiences of those closest to us. My journey from a career in interior design and project management to becoming a personal trainer and wellness coach is rooted deeply in the tales of two people who shaped my world: my parents.
The Tale of Two Parents
My Mother: A Life Cut Short My mother was a vibrant, energetic woman, full of life and dreams. She passed away suddenly at the age of 47 from a brain aneurysm. Her death was a shock, leaving a void that could never be filled. As I approached my 48th birthday, I couldn’t help but think of her. She never had the opportunity to experience this age, to grow older, and to enjoy the blessings that come with aging. In honor of her, I felt a deep calling to build a legacy that would help others embrace their age and appreciate every moment they are given. Aging is a gift, and our bodies deserve to be strong and resilient so that we can feel young at heart, no matter our age.
My Father: A Cautionary Tale My father's story is different, yet equally impactful. He passed away at the age of 73 from heart disease. After retiring, he adopted the mindset that he had worked hard all his life and now deserved to rest. Unfortunately, this philosophy led to an extremely inactive lifestyle, which accelerated his heart disease. Simple activities, like walking to the mailbox, became painful and challenging. Watching him struggle was heartbreaking and reinforced in me the importance of staying active and engaged in life, even after retirement. His story became a powerful lesson on what I did not want my future to look like.
Finding My Purpose
These two stories have profoundly influenced my life and career choices. Sitting with their memories, I realized the importance of nurturing our bodies and preparing them for the aging process. It’s not just about living longer, but about living better. We have the opportunity to age gracefully, to stay strong, and to feel young, and this truly is a blessing.

Changing the Narrative on Aging
My mission is to change the narrative on aging. I want to educate and support others in preparing their bodies for the future, whether through personal training, nutritional support, or a combination of both. Aging is not something to be feared; it is something to be celebrated. With the right mindset and lifestyle choices, we can enjoy each year that we are given, feeling alive, energetic, and fulfilled.
In memory of my mother and inspired by my father's journey, I have dedicated myself to helping others embrace their age and live their best lives. This is my WHY, and I am passionate about sharing it with the world. Together, we can rewrite the story of aging and create a future where we all thrive, one day at a time, one year at a time.
